Our favorite podcasts right now: Listen with us!

OK, we have a confession.

You may or may not know that our team is a bunch of binge podcasters, and we love all the genres. Collectively, though, our team gravitates toward two main podcast themes: biz development and girl talk. Yes, very different, and sometimes the two themes collide (our fave!). We like to have a lot of fun alongside learning. So whether it’s creating content while listening to our favorite lady podcasters chat about pop culture, or dreaming up new biz ideas while channeling a recent how-to chat among fempreneurs, we stay listening.

So, our favorites? Of course we’ll share our go-to's as of late, but only under the circumstance that you share your favorite podcast with us the next time we talk. Just a warning, though, you may become addicted to the banter like we have.

Here you go:

  1. LadyGang – This has been Lynzee’s favorite podcast from the beginning. We can’t even begin to count how many times she’s referenced it. Created by three women with big personalities (no wonder we like it, right?), Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jac Vanek, each podcast includes an addicting dialogue between the three–chatting and gossiping about the latest pop culture news and trends, and of course, what’s happening in their personal lives. It was created in 2015 to “make women feel less alone” and its success has skyrocketed, claiming noteworthy awards, tons of press, product lines, best-selling books and more.

  2. The Toast – Our fellow Toaster is Nikki. She cannot function without listening to her girls from The Toast every day (we’re serious). You could say it’s the theme song to her life. Anyway, The Toast is another girl-power-esq millennial chat session between two quirky co-hosts who are sisters: Jackie and Claudia. They discuss the latest pop culture news, personal musings and sisterly catch-up sessions.

  3. Better: The Brand Designer Podcast – When you visit the Better Brand Designer’s website, you’re instantly greeted with: “The only designer you need to be better than, is the one you were yesterday.” And we wholeheartedly agree. This podcast was started by two design besties (are you catching a theme here?), Jen and Esther, with the mission to rid the design world of secrets, competition and confusion. Each podcast features a blend of informative and soul-level conversations between Jen, Esther and their brand design buds.

  4. The Goal Digger – Jenna Kutcher’s Goal Digger podcast is next level. This content and marketing genius shares her intel on all things marketing, branding and social media. That’s for sure why we love it so much. Her podcasts are “live-workshop style” with experts in the industry to help you elevate your business. Jenna’s Instagram bio says it best, The Goal Digger is made up of “stories, strategies & tips to help you start and rock your biz.”

  5. Something Businessy – Another podcast that’s a mix of professional advice and girl talk, Something Businessy features business partners Frannie Wilson and Nichole Schoener as they discuss topics around branding and business building with their industry colleagues. Their conversations are candid, inspirational and informative. They don’t just focus on the how-tos, they dive deep into topics like workplace culture, interpersonal relationships and more.

  6. WorkParty – Self-described as “Part Work. Part Party,” this is a theme we can absolutely get behind. At LEO + LAINE, we work to have fun, making work fun. Does that make sense?! OK, maybe it’s more like “work hard, play hard.” Either way, we’re having fun. The WorkParty podcast is hosted by the Create & Cultivate CEO Jaclyn Johnson, and breaks down the business world for modern working women (hey, that’s us!). The podcast lives within the Create & Cultivate brand, so keep an eye out there for new episodes and updates!

Aside from the brilliance and humor shared in all of these podcasts, we love the community behind them. They’re created to empower, entertain and elevate, which is what draws us in the most. So, listen and let us know what you think! We’d love to chat about your favorite podcast.
